NEW   Low cost Inverter features small size and high performance.

BEHLMAN (Hauppauge, NY) has introduced the INV series DC-AC inverters that delivers 1200 VA of clean, regulated AC power from your battery bank or DC source.

The INV1200 features a unique circuit which provides voltage foldback to maintain full rated current into an overload without clipping the AC output. Power output is a maximum of 1200 VA with 100% of the rated output available into any power factor load. The unit provides a continuously clean, well regulated sine wave output voltage of 120 VRMS and a frequency of 60 Hz +/- 1%. Total harmonic distortion is less than 2% typical. Input power is either 48 VDC or 125 VDC. Optional AC input with bypass to mains, LED indicators and alarm notification via contact closures.

Input and Output connections can be made via rear mounted barrier strips. The unit provides for input protection via a circuit breaker and includes short circuit, overload and thermal protection. The INV1200 is available with a filtered AC mains input with bypass capability in the event of loss of DC input. Included with this option are LED=s for DC IN, AC IN and AC OUT and form C relays for alarm notification. Dimensions are 3.50"H x 17"W x 17"D. Weight is 25 pounds. The unit is supplied with removable rack mount angles and is ideal for local bench top power or rack mounting.
